Abstract


Voice teaching has a long history in the West, and gradually the subject to the attention of the language teaching profession . In our country , with the improvement of the English emphasis the importance of the English voice lesson has also been affirmed . But the majority of high school but did not give attention to the English pronunciation teaching , the students failed to consolidate voice foundation in high school will affect students entering the university after learning of English . Even in some high schools , the teaching of English speech , the content is also confined to isolated practice traditional and mechanical means of vowels and consonants ( Segmental Phonemes ) pronunciation of each phoneme , the students did not have a strong interest . In fact , grasp and manage stress (stress) linking (Linking) and tone (Intonation) ( suprasegmental phonemes ) was more able to show the level of a learner 's voice , but at the same time super- the Segmental Phonemes level voice knowledge is difficult to teaching and learning . Krashen 's input hypothesis (Input Hypothesis) and Swain's output hypothesis ( Output of Humaniy Hypothesis ) , the authors suggest that the introduction of of English suprasegmental phonemes voice classroom teaching mode soundtrack visual material as supplementary teaching materials . Compared to more traditional means the film teaching more students to provide a relaxing and wonderful learning environment . Movie teaching multimedia means, to financial audiovisual said in one , and the dissemination of knowledge and acceptance of the knowledge of the channel widened . This paper selected Hohhot Secondary School from high two parallel classes of 37 people as research subjects experimental teaching . Teaching design a variety of teaching and learning activities in order to identify more effective and practical means to improve the teaching and learning of speech knowledge . Through the the pretest test volume and a questionnaire to collect data in order to verify the effectiveness and practicality of the teaching experiment , the authors used the software SPSS Statistics 17.0 analysis of the collected data and concluded : All students Suprasegmental the phonemes learning progress has been made , and the film as a language carrier to better stimulate students' motivation .
