Abstract

The significance of the recent years, with the deepening of second language acquisition research, the learner's individual factors in the acquisition process has increasingly been the focus of attention, people transferred to the \up to the \Second Language Acquisition attaches great importance to researchers. Learning styles as part of the individual differences of students directly involved in the whole process of learning, has sustained a direct impact on the learners' learning effect and therefore understand the learning styles of the students to carry out the student-centered classroom teaching has a crucial role. Western scholars of learning styles to make a great deal of theoretical and empirical research in China, the research on learning styles is also confined to the theoretical research phase, little empirical research. Limited number of empirical studies are mostly limited to high school students and college students, vocational non-English majors make little research, and learning styles and their English listening linked less . This status quo, with Reid perceptual learning style questionnaire, the Inner Mongolia Institute of Architectural Technology 145 non-English major freshmen as the object of study, the level of understanding of their learning style and Listening research trying to solve five problems: 1, Inner Mongolia Institute of Architectural Technology, the general tendency of the learning styles of non-English majors what? 2, students of different gender differences in learning style? 3, the arts and sciences students learning styles if there is a difference? learning style tendency of non-English majors in English with their English listening level relationship relevant? 5, the low grouping students learning styles tendency What's the difference? this article using SPSS 13.0 on the questionnaire data to collate and analysis, the following conclusions: 1, Inner Mongolia Institute of Architectural Technology non-English speaking students overall tend to move in the type of learning style and tactile learning styles. Students most do not like hearing-learning. 2, boys and girls in tactile learning division tendencies significant differences, more boys than girls tend to tactile learning styles. Boys and girls in the tendency of other learning style differences. , Arts and science students in hands-on learning style differences significantly more than liberal arts students, science students tend to move in the type of learning style. Arts and science students are no differences in the tendency of other learning styles. Learning style and hearing level of mutual relations, the visual type learning style, hands-on learning style and tactile learning styles and English listening level was positively correlated; auditory type of learning style, group-type learning styles and personal type of learning style not have any relationship with the level of hearing. Visual type learning style, hands-on type of learning style and tactile learning styles of students listening level high and low points difference significant auditory learning style, group-type learning style and personal learning styles of the students hearing the level was not significantly different . Finally, the author on the results of the survey of higher vocational English Listening Teaching points with guiding recommendations and measures.
