Abstract


The rapid development of today's world, English is frequently used in the day-to-day working life, has become an international language of communication, and its growing importance as a communication tool. Therefore, as these main subjects in high school, English language and mathematics are very important to the quality of the teaching of English affect student graduation and further education, and even the future of work and life. I in early high school English teaching: in the growth stage of the students, middle and high school English learning appeared obvious gaps, this convergence impeded phenomenon is widespread. This phenomenon has brought difficulties to teaching English, has also become an obstacle to the full development of students. Convergence play a linking role in two different stages of teaching, and the teaching of the smooth convergence will further promote the improvement of the overall quality of teaching. An urgent need to bridge the gap between the junior high and high school English teaching two levels, the beginning of high school English teaching smooth convergence to hinder the smooth flow of the reasons so the investigation and analysis and explore coping strategies early, improving the quality of teaching high school English especially important. Questionnaires, of Quxian junior high school, a student of English learning survey, from the vocabulary, teaching methods, the study of law, grammar, reading comprehension, students interested in other aspects shows middle and high school students learning English also conducted a survey of English teachers teaching situation, analyze the existing problems in the convergence of the junior and senior high school English teaching, which involves: middle and high school English teaching objectives, teaching methods, teaching materials scheduling system, learning strategies, students' physical, psychological aspects of the problem . This paper argues that to solve the above problems should be psychological education, Fiqh law proceed: one concern teachers: change the concept of teacher education; strengthen the professional development of teachers; concerned about students: the ease psychological problems in a timely manner; guiding student learning method help The students form a self-learning ability; Third, the use of appropriate teaching strategies: focus on the convergence of the middle and high school English teaching methods; enhance students' learning habits; good job early, high school English textbooks smooth transition: establishing basic philosophy written in English textbooks ; strengthen English teaching content convergence; five, play a good evaluation function. Concluded the problems found in the study and the results achieved, and pointed out the limitations of the study.
