Abstract


Spoken as a basic language skills , plays an important role in teaching English . In recent years, with increasing emphasis on language communicative competence , based on the study of the oral teaching method caused widespread concern in the domestic and foreign teachers and linguistics experts . Teaching high school English spoken , however , there are still many problems : such as the lack of an effective mechanism for oral test , teachers over Chinese use and teacher-centered teaching methods . Educational drama as a teaching method used to fill the classroom teaching and creating real exchange environment , in a foreign country has a broad impact , its role is to enable students to think independently , to better adapt to the real language environment , free your mind , enhance emotional . The drama is not intended to train professional actors , but to help students better feelings in English learning , expression and thinking , to know how to develop communicative competence in English teaching . Therefore , the authors propose the traditional spoken English the drama teaching methods to optimize teaching . In this paper, research found that the main problems of today 's high school English spoken teaching : the neglect of the tone of voice , unable to think in English , a lack of self-confidence , excessive anxiety and no interest in spoken English learning . Of educational theater and spoken language teaching theory based , in order to focus on teaching practice , by designing a series of drama teaching activities , and used in the classroom spoken English teaching and extracurricular oral teaching to solve practical problems , to explore the dramatic Teaching Professor the feasibility and effectiveness of spoken English . In this paper, the practice of educational drama in spoken English teaching as a breakthrough and innovation , effective oral drama teaching methods and experimental study , a questionnaire and interview data were collected and analyzed , confirming educational drama can effectively improve the students ' oral English skills , improve their self-confidence, and practical significance to promote student unity and cooperation , in order to verify the effectiveness of educational theater and its teaching spoken English .
