Abstract


With the development of China Overseas Education , acculturation problems of foreign students in China, a growing concern. Students of different countries and in different cultural adaptation did not get much attention . The object of this paper is a comparison of Germany and Japan , two students in the Chinese cultural adaptation , and the similarities and differences in order to examine the different cultural backgrounds of students in China's cultural adaptation . In this study, the combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods to investigate students from Germany and Japan , and from bilateral international students each select three interviews and observation , respectively, from the social environment , learn life and interpersonal different cross-cultural adaptation of the two countries' students to analyze large amounts of data and interviews to understand them in learning and life experiences and feelings , understanding of the social environment in China , combined with different cultural background and cross-cultural theory on the analysis of the results of the questionnaire and interview data , trying to explore the similarities and differences between their cross-cultural adaptation and take this attitude and adjustment method . The results show that : the students of different countries , with significant differences in acculturation situation ; proactive in the face of cultural adaptation , should face and solve , not passively escape ; host country must improve the literacy of its own nationals . to create a better social and school environment , in order to reduce cultural conflicts , to help and to promote cross- cultural adaptation of international students .
