Abstract

Zhu Dexi said,”we will find many modern Chinese grammar questions when we take for real to study dialect. It is like one foot goes if we don’t combine modern Chinese research with dialect research and everyone knows that one foot going is not easy to go long and go top.”We can see the importance of dialect grammar research from his words. Xiushui Gan dialect is belonging to Nanchang district of Gan dialect. There are more language surveys of Nanchang and Yongxiu then Xiushui in this language district. This paper is written under deeply field survey and the achivement of formal predecessors.It selects Mandarin Chinese as standard and sometimes contrasts with other dialects to study the characteristic part of Xiushui Gan dialect.This paper studies Xiushui Gan dialect form grammerforming but together with function. On words forming includs the overlapping of noun, adverb, adjunction; the special affix; the characteristic words and special words for example auxillary word, mood particle, measure word, onomatopoeic word and adverb. Based on analyzing und describing to show their function. There are some special overlapping for example the AAB、AABB and ABA overlapping of noun, AACand XXA overlapping of verb and AAC overlapping of adjective ; there are also some special affix such as“li”“tou”“de“”zai”and some special forms for adjective, and some words in Xiushui Gan dialect have more then one function. As to sentence organizing, Xiushui Gan dialect has some feature too, Xiushui Gan dialect has time, it is no double objects sentence, and its patterns of passive voice and active voice is different from Mandarin Chinese.The describing and analyzing follows language principle of combining form with meaning, to contrast, to analyze and to sum up under detail describing. I hope this paper will arise the researching interest towards Xiu shui Gan dialect and do some contribution to Gan dialect, and to supply some reference for Xiushui people how to speaking Mandarin Chinese, too.
