In modern society, the interpersonal relationship is diversified and has become more complicated and utilitarian. How to deal with other people may have great effect on our work, study and life. The cultural connotation, characters, rules of etiquette of tennis sports provide a healthy and harmonious bridge thus.This dissertation employed the methodology of questionnaires, mathematical statistics, and interviews into the research of the interpersonal relationship in tennis sports. It focused on the facts and problems of the tendency of interpersonal relationship in the context of tennis sports and made some conclusions:first, regular participants under a silent transforming influence of the tennis sport may obey the rules and enhance their quality of moral standard; secondly, the cultural connotation, characters, rules of etiquette of tennis sports create an equal atmosphere at which participates relieve the social pressure and overcome the social wall and psychological block; thirdly, some people influence by instrumental rationalism made the normal personal communication into a materialized one. Last but not least, misunderstanding and reactions of the cultural connotation of tennis lead to the disharmony between people and society.Finally, suggestions to the present and future participants as follow: 1) Regular exercise should be keep on one or two times every week for one hour at least.2) Based on one’s needs of personal communication, making friends with various kinds of people is to develop a good relationship by taking part in the sports of tennis.3) Besides the competition itself, the history, culture and theory of tennis should be taken into consideration so as to master the spirit and enjoy the fun of tennis.
