Abstract

It is a universally agreed fact that college students have difficulty finding a job. Many factors result in this situation, and employment disability is one of them. Especially when the employers cannot find the right employees and the college students have a trouble finding a job, we have to think of such things as“What is the college students’capacity?”“What education actions are it closely related to?”and“How to educate the college students?”and etc.Higher vocational education is an important part of higher education, and the number of higher vocational students is more than half of that of higher college students. In order to solve the employment problem of college students, improving the higher vocational students’employmen capacity is of great significanceFor convenience of the contrast of some points related to thought and politics education and the higher vocational students capacity, my study generally talk of the conception, task, contents, methods and the features of higher thought and politics education.By explaining the conceptions of ability, employment ability, employment capacity, my research gives a clear idea of higher vocational students’employment capacity. It refers to a comprehensive individual ability attained by students in higher vocational education and in work; it is an ability to meet the need of the market, to challenge competitions and of sustainable development potentials. Comprehensive ability is decided by individual inner factor, it includes knowledge, skills and qualities attained through efforts in later life, excluding such outer factors as employment environments, employment aids and some special policies.Exploring the higher vocational students’employment capacity is the basis of my study, documentary method, survey method and method of statistical analysis are used in this part with a combination of qualitative and quantitative study. Higher vocational students’employment capacity involves three aspects: specialized knowledge and skills for the front work, which is the basis; practical ability to solve actual problems, which is the emphasis; and professional ethics and spirits, which is the root. Specifically speaking, it includes credibility, the sense of responsibility, endurance of hard work, communication and coordination ability, re-study ability, psychological ordination ability, accessing and dealing with information ability, analyzing and resolving problems ability, humanism, positive and go-ahead value, adaptation ability, good quality, specialized knowledge and skills. The features of higher vocational students’employment capacity are also embodied in three aspects: non-professional knowledge and skills are the main stream; key ability is more important than specialized knowledge and skills; professional ethics and spirit are more important than key ability.Some theories support the idea that Political thought education can promote the employment capacity of higher vocational students. According to the theory of professional ethics, professional ethics and spirits belong to the theory of professional ethics, and professional ethics theory education is an important task in political thought education. So political thought education can serves as a media in promoting higher vocational students’employment capacity; From the viewpoint of Moral theory for human,to develop talents needed by the country and the society, political thought education should not only conducts ideology education,but also serve for the self-development of people and promote the human development and improvement. Ability promotion is not only needed for students’survival, but for the harmonious development of personality. Based on the value theory of political thought education, higher vocational students’employment capacity is the reflection of inner value of political thought education. Paying attention to their employment capacity is an extension of the practice of political thought education.Promoting the employment capacity of higher vocational students through political thought education is an urgent practical need. Both the composition and feature of higher vocational student capacity and the actual problem of higher vocational student capacity determins that political thought education should be supposed to do something, i.e. the students’professional ethics and professional spirits are needed to be developed; their scientific world outlook and methodology should be guided; cognitive ability and social adaptation are needed to improve; direct their outlook on life; develop their proper sense of employment; strengthen their human spirits; improve their psychological ordination ability and cultivate their good personality.The last part of my paper deals with the routes and methods of the argument. The routes include the ordinary routes and specialized routes, and the methods involve the ordinary method, specified method and the method principles. This part falls into five sections: theory teaching module, social practice module, practical training module, management carrier and the internet field.
