Abstract


We are living in the era of information network, when internet culture is emerging. In the internet age, ideological and political education of university will be faced with the major research plan of how to adapt to the era, how to improve themselves and how innovate themselves.Based on the demonstration of the basic theory of the internet and internet culture, this paper analyses the characteristics of internet and internet culture and the unprecedented opportunities the internet culture has brought to ideological and political education of university from the internet culture background;Internet culture expands the education space and enriches the educational content, providing a different modern educational model, which has greatly enhanced the education efficiency. However, the negative effects it brings can not be overlooked. Internet culture profoundly affects the values and behaviors of university students and strongly challenges their physical and mental health and identification ability. Meanwhile, the new education way also brings unprecedented challenges to education authorities. Under the prevail of internet culture, ideological and political education innovation of university is a necessary requirement of building a harmonious society and a harmonious campus and enhancing the harmonious development of college students. During the innovation, we must follow the principle of“scientific, epochal, effective and subjective”. To innovate, we must firstly transform the traditional concept of ideological and political education and establish democratic awareness, information resource awareness and open education awareness;Second, we must update the contents of ideological and political education and increase the“internationalized education”, the education of current situation, the“faith education”, the“emotional education”and the education of internet mental health;With regard to creative methods, innovating the learning methods, practicing methods, introducing methods, demonstrating methods, criticizing methods and guiding methods respectively.In short, under the internet culture, ideological and political education workers should understand the internet with scientific approach and handle the internet with the innovative spirit, actively creating a healthy and vibrant internet cultural atmosphere.
