Abstract


Since the 1990s , teacher-centered and both student-centered teaching mode affects the practice of teaching . Teacher-centered teaching mode is conducive to teachers ' leading role in the play , is conducive to the organization of the teachers in the classroom teaching , management and control , and is conducive to imparting scientific knowledge to facilitate emotional communication between teachers and students , but entirely by teachers dominate the classroom , ignoring the main role of student learning , is not conducive to the growth of the creative talents with innovative thinking and the ability to innovate . Student-centered teaching mode is conducive to active exploration of the students , the initiative found conducive to the creation of the cultivation of talents , but the one-sided emphasis on \When the freedom of independent learning through the large , easy to deviate from the requirements of the teaching objectives , the student 's own learning is often a mere formality . Both teaching modes have their own advantages and shortcomings , and thus can not simply party to replace or negate the other , and should learn from each other , complementary advantages, to create a both development needs to adapt to the new curriculum implementation , but also play a teacher-led role and new teaching model to reflect the student body status - cooperative inquiry teaching mode . This paper is divided into four chapters , the meaning and characteristics of cooperative inquiry teaching mode , the feasibility of using the principles and strategies , as well as the problems faced by the improved method are discussed in detail .
