Abstract


Since the beginning of the new millennium, great leapfrog development of higher education has been achieved in our country, which has made our nation a big country of tertiary education. The accomplishment from a big country to a powerful one is the strategic choice and the indispensible way to the great revitalization of the Chinese nation.To study and learn the advanced international teaching experience is of crucial meaning in accelerating the construction of a powerful country of higher education. There are comparison ,analysis and research about the educational scale and teaching staffs between China and America in this paper, and Tianjin University and Purdue University are taken as an example to illustrate the difference between the structures of teaching staffs, then several proposals are put forward on deepening the Chinese educational reformation on higher education.1) The educational scale, reasonable number of tertiary institution and adjustment of institution structure should be taken into consideration according to the demand of economy and society in the tertiary education, which will make the number of tertiary school to be increased, structure and distribution adaptable to the economic development and industrial structure.2) to lead the social development through constant regulation of educational structure.3) to learn from the international higher educational experience, establish the professional degree postgraduate system acting on international convention and lay stress on cultivating notch innovative talents.4) to emphasize the service role of the administrative personnel and the auxiliary staff in education, increase the number of administrative and auxiliary personnel with paying ceaseless attention to enhance their quality , improve the structure of the staff and attach importance to the integrity and harmony on the construction of teachers.5) to respect the teachers at their posts, attract celebrated teachers, strengthen the construction of full—time teachers, draw the attention of excellent teachers globally to come to teach and improve the quality of the staff.Creating and completing the development patterns of our higher education further is to ensure that it will advance in a healthy and sustainable way.
