Abstract
|
In this work, a series of TiO2 nanotubes with different morphologies were fabricated by controlling the cyclic voltage and cyclic current anodization, respectively. The application of TiO2 nanotubes on the quantum dots sensitized solar cells (QDSSC) were studied, and relationship between the structure and the photonic and electronic properties were studied. In addition, we fabricated Ag nanorod by using the anodic aluminium oxide (AAO) and TiO2 nanotubes as templates, and tried to apply them in Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS).The main results are as below:1. We have fabricated smooth TiO2 nanotubes by anodic anodization, and studied there crystal properties. We also fabricate a series of TiO2 nanotubes with different morphologies by controlling the cyclic voltage and cyclic current anodization, respectively. The relative advantages are discussed.2. We have successfully fabricated a new type of TiO2 NTs array photoanode, which is sequentially modified by CdS, CdSe and ZnS QDs using a chemical bath deposition (CBD) method. The co-sensitized electrode exhibited significantly improved photo response compared to the single type QD sensitized electrodes, including both expanded spectral response range and enhanced IPCE performance. We also discuss the reason for the improvement of the photoanode.3. Titania nanotubes (TiNTs) were modified with PbSe and PbS quantum dots (QDs) by using a bifunctional molecule thiolactic acid linker. As a result, the absorption of TiO2 nanotubes is broadened from the UV region to the visible light harvesting region by PbSe QDs coating, meanwhile the photocurrent was also improved. However, the improvement of the PbSe/PbS QDs co-sensitized TiNTs was lower than PbSe QDs sensitized electrode.4. We have fabricated Ag nanorods by using the anodic aluminium oxide (AAO) and TiO2 nanotubes as templates, and studied their applications in Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS).
