Abstract


Warm mix asphalt (WMA) is a kind of new asphalt mixture whose mixing and construction temperature are between hot mix asphalt (150℃~ 180℃) and cold mix (normal) asphalt, and its performance reaches HMA.Currently, HMA is a kind of paving material which is widely used in road construction, but its aggregate and asphalt should be heated to about 160 ~ 180℃. Warm Mix Asphalt can significantly reduce the mixing temperature, and avoid weaknesses, in the Xinjiang region have broad application prospects.Firstly,This article does performance research on WMA in various temperature mix agents, different dosage.control the influence factors of WMA, and do some comparative tests on the basic properties of WMA. The paper also analysis the infection of the type of WMA,dosage of warm-mixed asphalt additive, ageing temperature with grey relational analysis theory, and comprehensive analysis to eventually determine the optimal combination of WMA.Secondly,By changing the aging temperature and the aging time, do short-term and long-term aging experiment of WMA. Contrast and compare the experimental methods of PAV,BBR and DSR, then it gives the short-term aging temperature that apply to WMA.Lastly,Through the supporting project, laid WMA experimental road outdoor and comparative analysis, further verification analysis on WMA is carried out. Explore the best compaction temperature and rolling temperature that apply to Xinjiang, and gave the influence relationship between mixing temperature and stiffness modulus in cold region. This paper proposes construction technical guidelines that apply to Xinjiang.
