Abstract

Jasmonic acid and its derivative Methyl Jasmonate are one kinds of important plant growth regulators, variety of plant life activities having related with Jasmine acids. Baphicacanthus cusia is the origin plant of Qingdai ,which is a genuine medicinal plant in Fujian procince. In this research ,we took Baphicacanthus cusia from Xianyou in Fujian province as experimental material to research its physiological effect on moisture content, dry matter, chlorophyll and carotenoid, proline, fluorescence of chlorophyll, secondary produce and differintial expression of proteins by the treatment of different centration of methyl jasmonate, to further explain the physiological effect mechanism of Methyl Jasmonate on Baphicacanthus cusia. The results were as follows:1. The moisture content of leaf of Baphicacanthus cusia increased by the treatment of exogenous Methyl Jasmonate.2. The dry matter of leaf of Baphicacanthus cusia was inhibited composition by the treatment of 0.5mg/L and 5mg/L Methyl Jasmonate.3. The chlorophyll content of leaf of Baphicacanthus cusia increased by the treatment of exogenous Methyl Jasmonate.4. The exogenous Methyl Jasmonate had no obviously effect on the proline content in leaves of Baphicacanthus cusia.5. The value of Fm and Fv/Fm of chlorophll’s fluorescence was downtrend on diurnal variation by the treatment of exogenous Methyl Jasmonate.6. The stomatal conductance , intercellular co2 content , transpiration rate ,photosynthetic active radiation of Baphicacanthus cusia’s leaves had the maximum value and the net photosynthetic rate had the minimum value by the treatment of 0.5mg/L Methyl Jasmonate compared with other treatments ; obviously, Methyl Jasmonate inhibited the photosynthesis of Baphicacanthus cusia.7. The content of active ingredient indigo and indirubin in Baphicacanthus cusia leaves increased by the treatment of exogenous methyl Jasmonate, which can promote the secondary metabolism of Baphicacanthus cusia. 8. The proteins of Baphicacanthus cusia were differentially expressed by treatment of methyl asmonate. 25 differential proteins was from the Baphicacanthus cusia which treated with 0.05mg/L methyl Jasmonate, and 17 differential proteins which treated by 5mg/L methyl Jasmonate.
