Abstract


Objective: To compare laparoscopic prostate cancer radical surgery retropubic radical prostatectomy efficacy of the treatment of localized prostate cancer . Methods: A retrospective analysis of our hospital in June 2005 and June 2010 , 20 cases radical prostatectomy in patients with prostate cancer , including 12 cases retropubic radical prostatectomy , 8 patients underwent laparoscopic radical prostatectomy surgery. Transrectal prostate biopsy , preoperative pathological diagnosis of prostate adenocarcinoma . Comparing two surgical preoperative parameters , operative time , blood loss , catheterization time , postoperative hospital days , and other indicators . Results : 8 patients underwent laparoscopic prostate cancer radical surgery patients were to be successful , no conversion to open . The mean operative time (246.50 ± 88.58) min, significantly longer than that of prostate cancer in 12 patients retropubic radical mastectomy patient group ( 164.75 ± 38.04 ) min were significantly different ( P lt; 0.05 ) ; mean intraoperative blood loss were (356.63 ± 153.89 ) ml ( 892.23 ± 383.08 ) ml ( P lt; 0.05 ) ; average catheterization time respectively (13.25 ± 3.99 ) d (18.83 ± 3.10 ) d (P lt; 0.05) ; the average number of hospital days ( 17.71 ± 4.10) d and ( 21.33 ± 2.87 ) d ( P lt; 0.05 ) . Followed up for 6-24 months , LRP group of eight patients were followed up for 1 year after biochemical recurrence rate was 12.5 % ( 1 / 8 ) , 2 years after biochemical recurrence rate was 25% ( 2 / 8 ) ; complete urinary continence after six months rate of 50% ( 4 / 8 ) , 1 year after completely urinary control rate was 87.5% ( 7 / 8 ) ; deaths . 12 cases of RRP patients were followed up for 1 year after biochemical recurrence rate was 16.7% ( 2 / 12 ) , 2 years after biochemical recurrence rate was 25% ( 3 / 12 ) after six months completely urine control rate of 41.7% (5 / 12 ), one year after fully urinary control rate was 83.3% ( 10 / 12 ) ; 2 patients died . Conclusion: Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy is not only less bleeding , quick recovery , and the same can be achieved by retropubic radical prostatectomy tumor control effect , urinary effect . Therefore , laparoscopic radical prostatectomy should be a better way to treat localized prostate cancer .
