Abstract


ObjectiveTo discuss the difference between simple BPH and BPH with CP in clinic features.MethodsAnalysis the patients who did TURP therapy during year 2005 to 2010 in our hospital and use SPSS17.0 to discuss the differences in ages, clinic features, volume of prostate, IPSS score, serum prostate specific antigen and so on.ResultsSimple BPH were admitted almost by urinary frequency, while patients who accompanying with CP were admitted by pain or terminal dribbling mostly; Simple BPH and BPH with CP can not be indentified by ages, volume and PSA.ConclusionPain or terminal dribbling or IPSS scores can distinguish simple BPH and BPH with CP. We should pay more attentions to prostatitis when the IPSS score is higher than 25. We can’t consider that simple BPH and BPH with CP can be indentified by ages, volume and PSA.
