Abstract


The aim of the present study was contemplated by the number of logit model of discrete choice models, nested logit model and mixed logit model to analyze the behavior of Zhejiang farmers new rural cooperative medical insurance model selection, detailing and compare three methods theoretically the similarities and differences and differences of application, aimed at achieving the following objectives: 1) mixed logit model is introduced to the cooperative medical insurance model selection analysis and application; 2) the number of logit model, the nested logit model and mixed logit model, a comparative study, choose the best model to analyze the impact of Zhejiang farmers cooperative medical insurance model behavior of choices, and provide a frame of reference for policy makers. Method from the survey data of 2010, Zhejiang Province, the new rural cooperative medical professionals as the research object and select household heads of household. Respectively, using a number of logit model, nested logit model, the mixed logit model established farmers cooperative medical insurance mode choice behavior model the difference compare models goodness of fit index, indicator of the accuracy of the model predictions, the theoretical assumptions of the model. Farmers cooperative medical insurance mode choice behavior logit model, the nested logit model as well as the adjustment of the mixed logit model Estrella value 0.6430,0.6427,0.6658; in model predictions efficiency, the number of logit model, nested logit model and mixed logit model are 53%, 56% and 61%, respectively. IIA assumption satisfied and not satisfied either case, a change of the independent variable on the number of logit model cooperative medical insurance model with mixed logit model to select the alternative form of. Conclusion mixed logit model analysis, Zhejiang Province, farmers cooperative medical insurance mode selection behavior of nested logit model and a number of logit model is more appropriate.
