Abstract


Theater is a special form of literature , it is to perform for the purpose , so intuitive , interactive with the audience and non-repeatability characteristics. In addition, a national or ethnic culture , history, religion and other characteristics can be reflected in the drama . Therefore, how will China play in the cultural beauty and inherent beauty of language to convey to the audience is the target language translator question worth considering . However, in translation studies , people mostly from the literary point of view to analyze and review the translation of drama , very few people from the dramatic text itself features and performance point of view to study the translation of drama . Only through performances, in order to fully display the charm of drama . Play this unique literary genre of translation requires the translator to take full account of its nature and culture stage performances take appropriate translation strategies . This article aims to explore the theatrical performances of cultural identity as well as its inherent how to properly pass . Author of \Idema 's the Story of West Wing. The results show promise Yuanchong translation is more suitable for stage performances .
