Abstract


Interest as a cognitive tendency with positive emotions color to promote the self-understanding of things, to explore the truth, not only prompted people to expand their horizons and enrich mental activity, but also promote creative learning and activities, is one of the most active factor in the motivation . Therefore, the students' interest, especially the interest in learning has become a topic of great concern from those who teach. In order to adapt to the needs of social development, English education has been a great deal of attention, the majority of our urban primary schools from the third grade and even first grade that opened English courses, but not optimistic about the situation of primary school students' interest in learning English, interest waned a serious problem. Most of the previous studies with teachers' teaching experience and descriptive studies, the lack of empirical. The Hidi people interested in the development of a four-stage theory that personal interest is triggered situational interest gradually evolved. Deci et al proposed a multi-dimensional structural model of situational interest, provides a theoretical basis for the study and measurement of situational interest. However, existing studies, the measurement of situational interest mostly concentrated in reading the measurement of situational interest, and learning for individuals interested in developing the most important measurement of classroom situational interest is lacking. Classroom situation how to measure interest? Classroom situational interest to maintain such Hidi people interested in developing the four-stage theory of a personal interest or contribute to personal interests and improve it? Conversion process is what it? these issues worthy of our consideration and research. To solve the above problem, this paper on the basis of previous studies analyzed to explore interest in the measurement of a classroom situation, structure and its conversion to the personal interest. This article includes three studies: research: According to Deci interest in the context of multi-dimensional structure theory preparation of primary school English classroom situational interest questionnaire to public elementary fifth grade students for the study, the questionnaire method, applied after prediction questionnaires and questionnaires measured, through the project analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis of the questionnaire items to filter and a formal questionnaire. Study: parallel to the two fifth grade classes in the same school as the research object, using the experimental method and survey method, analysis of situational interest evoked teaching methods and gender on the experience of classroom situational interest. Study: parallel to the two fifth grade classes for the study, one of the classes for the experimental group (receiving the intervention teaching), another class for the control group (no special treatment), the use of intervention studies, the pretest - measured - post-test \Based on the findings, the following conclusions: (1) The study found that primary school English classroom situational interest questionnaire includes five factors: Exploring the intention, time perception, a sense of pleasure, to attract and challenge of classroom situational interest is a measurable multi-dimensional structure. The situational interest questionnaire structure and Deci interest in the context of multi-dimensional theoretical model agreement, to verify the situational interest Measurement of the model is suitable for English class. (2) primary school English classroom situational interest questionnaire has good reliability and validity indicators, in line with the requirements of the surveying, measurement tools can be used as a primary school English classroom situational interest. (3) The primary school English classroom situational interest gradually transformed for the interest in learning English. English classroom situational interest to maintain first improve the overall level of students to expand the quest for knowledge level, and then gradually increase the use of English learning, and increase interest in learning English, and eventually form a more perfect interest in learning English.
