Abstract


There are many factors that affect the election results, including all aspects of the political, economic, cultural and other voters of the pros and cons of these factors, resulting in the satisfaction of the current government, the opposition party evaluation; another voter's political party preference, socio-economic background, candidate charisma will affect the election results. But the most direct impact on the election results is the electoral system. Taiwan's electoral system long-term the plural constituencies - the single non-transferable vote system \\and improper campaign means are rampant; (5) corruption is a serious public officers, other scholars also have similar views. Therefore, in order to overcome these drawbacks, in August 2004, Taiwan's \\June 2005 task NUS overwhelmingly seventh constitutional amendment \majority system (or a single constituency, two-vote system). \January 2008 under the new electoral system, the seventh legislator \who obtained four seats.
