Knowledge economy and information era, combined with the in-depth development of the new technological revolution worldwide, the quality of traditional practitioners has been more and more challenges, \Many countries regard the development of vocational education as a support industry construction, solving the employment problem, improve the quality of workers, increase national competitiveness an important cornerstone. How to learn the advanced experience of vocational education reform we become a problem worthy of further exploration. 30 years of reform and opening up, China's rapid economic development, accelerating industrial upgrading and transfer to become the strategic choice of China's educational development, vigorously develop vocational education, vocational education and training of young people is related to the country's future development. Secondary vocational education reform has become the topic of discussion by the community. In this context, the importance of secondary vocational education reform in developed countries stand out. Young people aged 14-19 in the UK vocational education reform is an important part of the reform of vocational education to understand and study the British youth vocational education reform and development of secondary vocational education in China is of great significance. In this study, the reform of the vocational education of young people aged 14-19 in the UK for the study, the Introduction section describes the research question, research methods, research status. The text is divided into five parts: The first part of the background of the British young people aged 14-19 vocational education reform; The second part of the process of the reform of vocational education of young people aged 14-19 in the UK, were described in the 1980s and the 21st century British young people aged 14-19 the reform of vocational education; third part is the objectives and content of the reform of vocational education of young people aged 14-19 in the UK, including: the establishment of a unified young people 14-19 years old vocational qualification certificate system, Modern Apprenticeship reform, strengthening the core capacity-building and the establishment of vocational education cooperation between the four aspects; fourth part is the characteristics of the reform of vocational education of young people aged 14-19 in the UK, including: more choice, higher qualification level, more emphasis on basic education and are more concerned about fair and other content; the last part of British young people aged 14-19 Vocational Education Reform, four of our reference: to pass legislation to strengthen protection of secondary vocational education system, the establishment of a scientific and standardized vocational qualification system, strengthen core capability and the establishment of cooperative relations.
