Abstract


Urbanization is a global development trends , the future , the majority of people will live in cities . The city has focused on the overwhelming majority of people in the world , the advanced nature of the political, economic , military , science and technology , culture and other advantage of these resources to promote the emergence and development of the mass media . The mass media as a tool of information dissemination in the city and life tools , from the direction of the development of urban culture guide . Wave of Western urban culture and media criticism , the alienation of contemporary mankind gradually , this paper intends to demonstrate the interaction between mass media and urban culture in literature analysis, comparative analysis and case analysis of the mass media relationship between urban culture to make a macro theory combing and build their own theoretical research framework , do a rational analysis of modern and contemporary urban culture and the media environment , and ultimately identify the mass media and urban culture harmony Road and to provide a better development environment for the other , to purify our today's media environment and urban cultural space .
