With the technical rapid development and environment of high uncertainty, the technological innovation management is becoming a complex activity. Enterprise is no longer an isolated system. Enterprise’s technological innovation is an open, non-linear course of activities. Nowadays, many well-known enterprises implement open innovation, use of all valuable ideas no matter from internal or external, simultaneously using both the internal and external market access, helping the enterprises to implement the innovation effectively. Based on the open innovation, we not only need to research on the technical evolution to make technical progress, but also need to find the appropriate business models in order to development emerging technologies. The establishment of open business models analysis framework of emerging technologies, is helpful for emerging technologies to innovate business models.This essay, firstly, introduces the related theories about technological innovation, open innovation, emerging technologies and business models. Secondly, clearly explaines the Niche expand of emerging technologies and the evolution model of application domain migration by the theory of Niche, analyzes the evolution path of emerging technologies breakpoint. Then, classify the business models according to the development of emerging technologies based on open innovation. Finally, analysis of the development of LED lighting technologies and business models, to prove it suits the analysis framework of open business models.
