Abstract


In recent years, with the rapid growth of population and economic development, the urban construction land has expanded rapidly, and the social economic construction demands for land is increasingly soaring. Through non-agriculturalization of farmland, to satisfy needs of the land for construction of the economy development, has become an inevitable trend of economic development. The land resource is becoming increasingly shortage, especially for the cultivated land resources, and the quality is also constantly going down. Whether Intensive utilization of land resources, will directly affect the sustainable development of agriculture, food security, economic development and social stability. The research for the intensive utilization of cultivated land resource will also become inevitable trend of social development.The paper is based on the study of cultivated land intensive utilization, strive to coordinate good relationship of human and land resources, and realize the sustainable utilization of land resources. Through consulting research of the relevant literature information since 2005 on Jingshan County, population economic statistics, statistical yearbook and practical investigation, on the basis of fully understand the general situation of Jingshan County and the status of cultivated land resource utilization, the paper constructed an evaluation system that based on "pressure-state-response" PSR model of cultivated land intensive utilization of JingShan County of Hubei Province, using principal component analysis and correlation coefficient analysis and GIS software and SPSS software package and so on. From the Angle of regional space of JingShan County of Hubei Province, to measure and evaluate the 14 towns cultivated land intensive utilization level space differentiation driving factors.Research shows that:on the basis of explicating the content of intensive utilization cultivated land, constructing the PSR model evaluation index system which indicates the human and land relationship, could well reflect the land utilization status. Research results:(1) The JingShan County cultivated land intensive utilization level, shows a northwestern low,southern and south-eastern high distribution state. (2) through the related coefficient analysis, conclude that JingShan County cultivated land intensive use level and coordination degree PSR system were positively correlated. This shows that the higher level of cultivated land intensive use, the higher of its coordination degree. In the future in the cultivated land intensive use process should continuously strengthen the coordination degree of farmland’s PSR system and its internal factors, through continuously adjust their internal relations, to accomplish the purpose of improving cultivated land intensive level; (3) Analyze the factors that lead to the spatial difference of cultivated land intensive use level, it divided into three aspects, namely:natural driving factors, policy driving factors, social economic factors and based on the characteristics of cultivated land intensive use proposed the improving the land utilization level suggestions.
