Abstract


Chapter In recent years, very important to the biological activity of multi - substituted naphthalene , and its importance in the synthesis of complex polycyclic aromatic compounds , the development of new, efficient multi- substituted naphthalene compounds synthesized by the extensive attention , this chapter is mainly overview of related work . Catalyzed by small organic molecules in the second chapter in the past ten years has become a hot research topic in organic synthesis , many previously impossible reaction catalyzed by small organic molecules . There is no use of small organic molecules catalyzed synthesis of multi-substituted naphthalene derivatives reported . Synthesized in order to the easily prepared Nitroolefins and glutaraldehyde analogs as starting material, through a pyrrolidine induced Michael / Henry, dehydration, aromatization of four steps tandem reaction , simple and efficient one-pot multi - substituted naphthyl derivatives. The significant advantages of this method are : mild reaction conditions , catalyst cheap and easy to get , regioselectivity , simple and efficient synthesis of multi- substituted naphthalene compounds provide a new way .
