Research on Nasal Feeding Interval Time for Elderly Brain Disease with Aspiration Pneumonia

Abstract


Aim of the present study was different intervals of tube feeding diet for clinical observation and control study to investigate the optimal feeding intervals , to avoid or reduce nasal complications , in order to promote the healing process of the disease . Methods in November 2009 - June 2010 at the General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region, Department of Neurology care treatment combined cerebrovascular disease in elderly patients with aspiration pneumonia , using a random sampling method, met the inclusion criteria 60 patients . 60 subjects divided into two groups according to the random number table , the control group 30 , the test group 30 . Control group, according to the line feeding intervals 3h , the test group feeding intervals 4h, two groups of patients nasogastric tube method , nasogastric position, nasal fluid composition identical . Observed in patients with nutritional status, nasal complications, and nurse workload. On measurement data ( serum albumin , total protein, total lymphocyte count , nurses nasogastric daily working hours ) using the t test for count data ( morbidity ) using χ2 test , analysis of data using statistical software SPSS13.0, P lt; 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Outcome evaluation indicators of nutritional status of serum albumin, total protein and total lymphocyte count before and after experiments showed no significant difference (P gt; 0.05). Evaluate the incidence of complications of reflux indicators experimental group than the control group (P lt; 0.05), the experimental group gastric retention , diarrhea , bloating, constipation incidence compared with the control group showed no significant difference (P gt; 0.05 ) . Nasogastric day trial group of nurses work for less than the control group (P lt; 0.05). Conclusion nasogastric interval difference had no effect on nutritional status . A reasonable extension of time interval ( interval 4h) can reduce age cerebrovascular disease in patients with aspiration pneumonia combined incidence of nasal regurgitation . According to the actual situation of desk work to extend the interval between feeding and care work without any contradiction , so care operation time rationalized.
