Abstract


Diversity in the information, a variety of electronic media has gradually penetrated into today’s graphic design. The task of Graphic design has not only simply focused on how to attract people’s attention and arouse people’s attention through strong visual images, but also to study psychology with an honest attitude to make the design truly people-oriented. Therefore, in addition to graphic design to develop the creative and unique form of graphic design, it is needed to face a variety of areas of urgent need to address new issues of psychology.This paper timely manners the cutting-edge theoretical research----"design psychology" into graphic design, and re-positioned graphic design as exploring the relationship between people and design. According to the psychological knowledge of graphic design, analyzes the importance of design psychology. And proposes graphic design theory application in psychology, which including color, graphics, structure and materials. Explorative proposes the graphic design methods to meet audience’s Psychology, and the relationship between design theories and graphic design.It is believed that this paper will provide a new graphic design view, to help designers gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between people and design, to consider more fully the problems encountered in the design, provide more reasonable, Effective and appropriate design from the ideas of people-oriented.
