Abstract


The humor is an integral part of people's daily life , a relief , an endless stream of humor research , the humorous discourse has a strong communicative function . Chinese language unique art form sketch Verbal Humor provide the audience with a lot of jokes , humor speech has great practical value . Verbal Humor research is interdisciplinary topic , involving broader . Many scholars from psychology, sociology and other wide-ranging and in-depth study . In recent years, the pragmatic scholars started to pay attention and the importance of research for Verbal Humor . Relevance theory proposed by Sperber and Wilson as an interpretation of the language of communication theory has also been used to study the humorous speech , and achieved certain results . Today , relevance theory has been used to guide the practice of translation .
