Abstract


The Country Novels beginning from the 20th century has been an attractive research subject. It holds an important role in the history of Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature because of his own profound connotation and cultural value. And New Historicism which has interdisciplinary and multi-dimensional field of vision such as Cultural Politics and Historical Ideology provides a particular view and method for explaining the text’s intension and appraising works. So, It can make the Country China get more space for being interpreted in the context of postmodernism to use the New Historicism to expound the native narrative by China’s new century.This paper does research from the points of New Historicism---Cultural Poetics and Historical Poetics. The body contains three parts:The first chapter introduces the primary content of New Historicism theory and the possibilities of combination this theory with the creation practice of native narrative.The second chapter basing the theory of "Cultural Poetics" and the country novel works of A-lai、Jiapingwa、Youfengwei in the 21th century interprets the modernity of narrative, including the introspection to the lamentation of countryside、the position of rural migrant workers and native cultural spirit.The third chapter basing the theory of "Historical Poetics" and country novel works of Moyan、Yanlianke in new century clearly explains the relationship of history and narrative、politics and power, involving Moyan’s strategy of life narrative and Yanlianke’s no-institution power narrative.
