Abstract


Chang’an and Luoyang was the political center of Tang Dynasty, the stand or fall of security relationship to the security of the regime and the social security, therefore, rulers adopted a series of measures and actions and strengthening security management, to prevent and combat crime. Tang curfew system is a manifestation of this behavior. Tang curfew system is characterized by street drum, drum sounds dawn day marking the beginning of Chang’an City, the drum and voice activity means the end of the day and night to come. Therefore, street drum ring is a unique city of Chang’an time signal, which reflects the normal rhythm of life in the capital of Tang Dynasty. Drum and seems very calm after the capital city, but under the cover of darkness, all the gods ghost story starring all have played in Chang’an and Luoyang. While these stories not seen in the official history records, and even the content may not be faithful, but they largely reflect the Chinese spiritual world, reflect their thought,think, joy, and fear. The day real world and the mysterious night together constitute the world of Chang’an and Luoyang two urban culture. "Lan Ling Fang " class story is a reflection of this phenomenon.Therefore, this article curfew system and communicate with the novel of Tang Dynasty, in the full use of literature and the neighbor system of the Tang Dynasty curfew cultural studies with the two capital of Tang Dynasty based on the results in order to Taipingguangji in the incidence of recorded curfew period in the two two capital of Tang Dynasty supernatural stories to the Tang Dynasty from another perspective on the ghost world and folk beliefs for further understanding.
