Abstract


About the Bible study , since the emergence of Scripture began , various theories have been used to study it. Traditionally, the oldest and most common is the \The latter half of the twentieth century , a variety of literary theory has been used to explore this classic literary characteristics and value . In this paper, \its narrative analysis of the characteristics . In addition to conclusions described at the beginning and end of the two chapters outside the main part constituted by the five chapters : Chapter II is a literature review of the Bible at home and abroad ; chapter describes the theory of narrative criticism ; Chapter through the plot and ideology analysis to confirm the integrity of the story of Jacob's life ; fifth chapter of the omniscient narrator , and visualize and looming analyzed ; sixth chapter explains the story of Jacob's life narrative point of view of the three focus. Through detailed textual analysis , we can see not only the story of Jacob 's life with the plot and ideological integrity , and has a strong literary characteristics and appreciation of the value , which complements the existing domestic life only to disperse Jacob individual fragments lack of research . As the grandson of Abraham , Isaac 's son, Jacob, the ancestor of the Israelites , his story began the history of God's chosen people . Their personal life story as a whole and to explore the narrative characteristics of this method can also be applied to the other main characters around which began in biblical narrative , so as to enrich the Bible contributed to the study of literature .
