Abstract


As human society and technological advances in the production and development of human material living standards have been greatly improved, but in the process also produced a large number of serious pollution and environmental destruction , these acts have been harmful to human survival and development , so that the environmental problem has become a major concern to society in general . Increasingly serious environmental problems have forced many countries have begun to seriously harm the environment defined as criminal acts , and through the criminal penalties to regulate the behavior. Environmental crime is a relatively new concept to protect the environment through criminal law environmental protection has become a major trend in criminal punishment is to achieve the most important forms of environmental liability . Although China is a developing country, but the government attaches to the work of environmental protection is still evident .
