Abstract


Sex education is not the needs of adolescents, but the rights of young people. In 1988, a new sex education policy started, followed by the Ministry of Health and the State Education Commission jointly issued \After a number of new sex education materials have been brought forth. In 2008, the Ministry of Education issued a \health education curriculum standards, including a new textbook published accordingly. Therefore, I hope based on personal judgment and sex education development, select Texas teenagers sex education as my master's degree thesis topics for future sex education curriculum standards development and sex education textbooks develop new research and reference material. Literature, the study investigated the status of teenage sex education in Texas, USA, and a panoramic view to show the the Texas juvenile sex education system. Analysis of national health education standards and health education standards equivalent to the state of Texas, Texas health education basic knowledge and skills \The preliminary design of a part of sex education in Texas 9-10 grade health education materials can be used to evaluate the measurement tools. Finally, the application of content analysis to study the U.S. state of Texas allows the use of a public high school four health education materials, combing the framework and structural framework of the content of each textbook, textbooks distinctive design module, and from the content three characteristics, organizational characteristics and teaching characteristics summarized the core elements that affect the quality of sex education materials. This study extends the research on the development of American youth sex education. Time, times, and complement the development status quo of the past five years; spatial focusing Texas, to give concrete expression to the adolescent sex education system built by a representative of the State; deepening of this study to the U.S. studies of sex education programs in schools, national curriculum standards - state curriculum standards - the state textbook for the study of the main line, made a static analysis of the quality of the course, and complements the research in this area.
