Abstract

Agaricus bisporus is the major cultivar of Nanling mushroom. In recent years, owing to the impact from international market and foreign large-scale production bases, the planting benefit of Agaricus bisporus has been decreasing. For solving this problem, we took different available sheds in Nanling as experimental materials, such as anniversary sheds, brick woodsheds and thatched cottages, and then modified their insulation layer and the internal control system. By doing this, we can know that whether the growth of mushrooms is influenced by the changes in wall materials, insulation layer, temperature and humidity control system. The result shows that there is a gradient in the variation of temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide concentration between upper and lower mushroom beds for unmodified thatched cottages and brick woodshed, which influences the production and quality of mushrooms. While for the modified ones, the growth environment of mushrooms has been improved, so the unity, fruiting cycle and production of mushrooms are all enhanced. For example, in unmodified sheds, the mushrooms can only be produced for about four and a half months between autumn and winter or between spring and summer. On the contrary, in modified ones the mushrooms can not only be produced from January to March, but also from May to September. Besides, during this period, the price of mushrooms is quite high, and the input-output ratio almost maintains at 1:8-10. Accordingly, this technology is worth spreading. It’s indeed the case that the fermentation technology in Nanling is not perfect, so we make use of the tunnel-type fermentation groove for the fermentation test. By the contrast test among common primary fermentation, secondary fermentation, tunnel-type secondary fermentation, and tunnel-type tertiary fermentation, we can know the growth of Agaricus bisporus in different fermentation technologies, and then explore appropriate models of fermentation technology in Nanling. Apart from this, the preparation of culture medium and temperature controlled model in tunnel-type fermentation room can be built. It shows that tunnel-type fermentation can shorten the cycle and improve the production in the experiment, which is significant for the annual production and short-season cultivation of Agaricus bisporus. It is suggested to use tunnel-type fermentation technology widely in production. What’s more, the method of multi-zone system used to complete the fermentation process can improve operating efficiency of sheds, and make multiple cropping cultivation in a year come true.In order to meet the needs of multi-season cultivation, we have done a screening test of mushroom varieties. By the contrast test among seven mushroom varieties which were collected and introduced and the major cultivar AS2796 in Nanling, the hyphae growing rate of maternal species, the bacteria contamination rate, and the appearance and production of fruiting body are analysed. By doing this, a few outstanding varieties can be screened. The result demonstates that’zongxiu Nol’is suitable for winter cultivar;’xiagu93’ and ’xindeng96’are suitable for summer cultivars; And’chuannong Nol’can be spring and autumn cultivar. In the screening test of new formulas for mushrooms, we take the commonly used formula (Formula 1) as control, and design seven new formulas with different cultivation medium. Furthermore, we make use of the anniversary sheds for anti-seasonal production and multi-season cultivation, and the fermentation quality, the speed of producing fungus, the bacteria contamination rate, production and appearance are monitored and evaluated. The result shows that Formula 7 is outstanding for resisting diseases and the mycelium germination speed is quite high; Formula 4 and 6 whose cultivation medium is the treated mushroom cultivation waste has few differences in production with control. By the contrast test, Formula 6, Formula7, Formula8 have higher yields and outstanding integrated traits, so they are worth spreading. It is also shown in production and experiment that the differences in different batches and regional qualities may affect the test results. Also, the differences of the temperature and humidity between the stereo cultivation frame layers may influence the yield. Presently, the cost of anti-seasonal production is so large that the general farmers can not afford it. Many problems still need to be addressed, which are also our next assignments. There are a couple of aspects needed to be improved by the experiment. Firstly, we need to modify the formula which cost lower. Secondly, we need to research the mechanism of conversion and absorption of nutrients for cultivation medium in Tunnel-type fermentation tanks. Thirdly, the producing method by changing temperature need to be perfected, and the core technology of promoting kink and fruiting body formation during the latter period of mycelium growing also need to be researched and explored. Besides, the human-controlled ability to small environment in sheds should be strengthened, the health and growing environment of fruiting bodies should be ensured; What’s more, we should focus on the method of reducing energy consumption and production costs; Apart from this, the production conditions of planting mushrooms should be improved, especially for increasing investment in infrastructure; Finally, the post-harvest processing technology should be emphasized, and the industrial chain need to be extended.
