Abstract


As the mobile communication industry and the Internet are two largest areas of fastest growth and greatest potential in the today’s information society. Nowadays, the mobile Internet is pervasive and gradually affecting users’work, study and lifestyle, with its colorful new applications in communications services, entertainment services, multimedia services, Internet services and mobile location-based services (LBS). In the rapid development of new technologies and new media, how to understand the direction of mobile Internet industry and relationship between the upstream and downstream industry chain, how to identify customer needs, how to combine with the spread of mobile Internet applications and other issues, are all new challenges for the mobile Internet practitioner in the coming mobile Internet era,This paper describes the history of the development of mobile Internet technology and related communication theory. By large-scale data comparison, it indicates the analysis of the development of mobile Internet similarities and differences between the two countries of China and South Korea, summarizes the success and loss of mobile Internet development and proposes some strategies, in order to make it possible for China’s mobile Internet industry to better explore the characteristics its domestic market and deal with the international competition and cooperation relationship, and win a global market share, based on the experience from South Korea.
