Abstract


Industrial cluster, which is an important economic phenomenon and regional economic development mode, universally exited all over the world. Since the Aviation industry has remarkable industrial, regional and web features, the cluster development can motivate the rapid development of aviation manufacturing industry and thus promote the regional development and the industrial competitiveness.This thesis defines the concept of aviation manufacturing industry cluster and analyzes the main features of aviation manufacturing industry cluster; it analyzes and summarizes the current situation of international aviation manufacturing industry cluster; it also classifies and sums up the formation and development of domestic aviation manufacturing industry cluster and proposes some problems existed in the formation process.Based on the traditional industrial cluster theories, this thesis analyzes the formation elements of aviation manufacturing industry cluster from the macroscopic, the middle, microcosmic aspects; Because of the speciality of the formation mechanism of aviation manufacturing industry cluster, the motivation for its formation and sustaniable development comes from the interrelation and interaction between these formation elements. This thesis explains the formation mechanism of aviation manufacturing industry cluster from the factor supply mechanism, resource accumulation mechanism, market mechanism, competition mechanism, policy guiding mechanism and cluster organization mechanism. It also concludes the formation mechanism of aviation manufacturing industry cluster from the internal and external mechanisms. Both of these two paths can promote the formation of aviation manufacturing industry cluster from constructing a positive feedback path.This thesis focuses on the empirical research on the aviation industry in Jiang Su province and analyzes the present situation, opportunities and the feasibility of the formation of aviation manufacturing industry cluster. This thesis calculates the agglomeration level of domestic aviation industry through market concentration indexes. The result shows that the agglomeration level of domestic aviation manufacturing industry presents a high level. By choosing Shan Xi, Liao Ning, Tian Jin and Jiang Su, these four representative regions, and conducting the comparative studies from the fundamental development, bearing conditions, periphery supporting conditions of the aviation manufacturing industry cluster, this study shows that although Jiang Su has quite good aviation manufacturing industry base, the formation and development of industry cluster is slow. At last, this thesis proposes some suggestions for the formation of aviation manufacturing industry cluster in Jiang Su province from the forming mechanism of industry cluster.
