Abstract


The quality of urban construction is the key factors for the great-leap-forward development for Xinjiang. The level of Xinjiang urbanization is lag behind. This paper summarizes the domestic and foreign urbanization theory research, including scholars’research for Xinjiang theory of the urbanization and the measurement of development level of urbanization. Making an illustration that the urbanization development for the some countries and regions. Summarize the urbanization development in each case internal causes and all the advantages and disadvantages of urbanization modes.This paper summarizes the development course of urbanization in Xinxiang since the historical reason and the urbanization development subject-object and objective factors. This paper adopts a number of statistical data. To contrast with the other provinces, cities and national average level, found out insufficient of the process of urbanization, and Xinjiang its comparative advantages. This paper points out that Xinjiang should follow a different modes from other developed regions. Xinjiang should be in accordance with its own natural environment resources, location advantages and the support from national relevant policies, to develop a sustainable, intensive accord with the characteristics of its own path of urbanization in Xinjiang. Xinjiang must be based on its actual situation, build a space level of urbanization system, the implementation of the urbanization strategy. And insist on sustainable development; increase the urban ecological carrying capacity. Both must consider industry layout and population distribution problem, but also pay attention to the regional, natural, environment, and economic harmonious development. Implement for large and medium-sized cities, key towns priority development, intensive and connotation of sustainable urbanization development type road.
