Abstract


"The transformation of university is a product of the times change". With the arrival of the new economic era, the rise of information industrial revolution and education reform indicate that the university will be from the verge to the centre of economic and social status, meanwhile, the large-scale campus construction also results a range of issues. For example, the original closure of the campus and the main function of the rational planning can not meet the needs of the times. With the times background changing, the scale of the campus expanding and the mode of education reforming, the campus develops from a point to a face which radiates the entire community or city. The principal contradiction of planning and design has changed, and then the original campus planning balance has been broken. In the end, land, the times background, human space has been the elements of a campus map, leading to the produce of campus "ground-planning".This article explores the origins of planning model evolution from the campus planning process at home and abroad of the history; drawing lessons from history. Its evolution makes us deeply feel that a specific historical background, external conditions and the role limits its planning mode. Then through the analysis of today’s campus characteristics, trends and issues to find new campus planning model direction. Finally, on land, the times, human space and other elements of the plans at the end of thinking, the author made to campus construction, landscape-oriented environmental planning; to adapt to the development of the functional layout for the skeleton ;to the campus for the human spirit embellished design places the campus of contemporary China - Planning and Design. Finally, for example through the points of the plan to elaborate theory in concrete examples of expression.Anyway,Campus "ground-planning" ,In fact , stresses the important role of " the ground-planning" elements in contemporary campus planning such as land ,times and human space. With the passage of time these plans at the ground of the original elements has come to the stage and been the principal contradiction in the contemporary Chinese campus planning.
