Abstract


With the rapid development of information technology and economic globalization, cooperation between enterprises becomes more and more popular. Joint-development model becomes the strategic choice of many high-tech companyes for their products’development. Product development is a process with intensive and high-speed flow of knowledge. The knowledge transfer and knowledge share between partners are very important for product joint-development. Knowledge transfer is the key to knowledge management in product joint-development.“A”company is using joint-development for the development of its terminal products, but there is no inter-organization knowledge transfer mechanism established for the joint-development. This has caused many problems in product development.This thesis aims to establish an inter-organization knowledge transfer mechanism for joint-development of terminal products in“A”company and provide a comprehensive and systematic solution to“A”company for management of inter-organization knowledge transfer in terminal products’joint-development.Firstly, an inter-organization knowledge transfer mechanism model is established in this thesis. Subsequently, each of the key components of this mechanism are described in detail in this thesis, including: the knowledge classification and the factors affecting knowledge transfer, the methods of knowledge transfer, the process of knowledge transfer and the supporting mechanisms of knowledge transfer. At the end, this thesis takes a real project as a case analysis to explain the application of this mechanism in product joint-development practice.
