Abstract


Social medical security is essential for people’s lives. Medical insurance information system (MIIS) is playing an important role in medical insurance service delivery and social security fund supervision. In the first several years of 2000s, many cities including SF city built MIIS. After nearly 10 years of operation, the MIIS of SF city was unable to satisfy the management requirements.This thesis studied on the planning and implementation of SF city MIIS. The author analyzed the status of SF city MIIS and explained the function requirements for new MIIS. Furthermore, the author gave advice for problems occurred during process of using the MIIS. This thesis also provided the key factors of the MIIS project.
