Abstract


The phenomenon that it is difficult for graduating university student to find a job now is becoming a focus problem for the society. It is not only resulted from continuous expanding recruitment of students, but also as a result of poor skills, week consciousness and non-matured psychology on job selection. It is an important research topic and should pay much attention for all the universities and colleges on how to assist students to realise the value of themselves, to objectively analyze and evaluate themselves, to plan their career reasonably and to learn the skills and techniques of job selection. But now, the situation is that the research on student career planning management in China is at the exploring stage, there are not enough theoretical studies, and the research method is not scientifically enough, and there still have no theoretical framework. Every university do research themselves and there is little communication with others, that will lead to an unfavourable result on the research of Hebei province even the whole country.It is much later that the universities in Hebei province carried on the research on university student career planning management than any other universities. There is limited number of paper published, so the authors did a primary research that sent 4000 questionnaires to 84 universities and colleges in Hebei province. The samples are students that from grade one to grade four, and 3659 questionnaires been returned. The aim of the questionnaire is to find out what attitude and consciousness student hold when they looking for a job, it also aim to evaluate the degree of recognition of career planning management. In turn, it is in hope that through this research, authors can find problems on the program of career planning management and gives suggestions and solutions to those problems.The research on career planning management by foreign professors is very limited. Authors systematically demonstrated university students’career planning management, primarily defined the concept of career planning management, provide theoretical exploration for the perfection of career planning management system, it also assure the importance of careering planning management for practicality. By analysing those questionnaires, authors found common problems that faced by most universities and this article gives 10 suggestions on how to carry on career planning management in universities and colleges.
