Abstract


In the present political class in high school, students lack the ability and awareness of initiative thinking, bold imagination, scientific criticism. In view of this situation, this article, in accordance with the political subjects of the new high school curriculum requirements, centers on "train students’ questioning ability". Employing both theory and practice, the author makes an attempt to explore how to develop students’ questioning ability through the ideological and political teaching. The full text includes four chapters:ChapterⅠ: Explain the meaning of questioning, questioning one’s way of thinking and questioning ability, as well as the theoretical basis of training student’s questioning ability in high school political class.ChapterⅡ: Illustrate the importance of developing the students’ questioning ability from the requirements of the times and the development of the political subjects.ChapterⅢ: Analysize the reasons and main problems of the current students’ questioning ability in high school political class ChapterⅣ: Study the possibility of practicing and improving the questioning ability in high school political class. This is the most important content of the whole essay. Based on the new high school curriculum requirements and years of teaching experience, this article mainly talks about the following six aspects: changing the teacher and the students’ concept of education, reconstructing the high school political class teaching, creating inspiring learning environment, emphasizing the class generation, activating the students’ thinking, correcting the bad state of mind. The author encourages the students to question the doubtful problems, to train themselves to have the ability to raise good questions, to develop a habit of asking why and how, and by these means finally achieve the aim: good questioning ability. What’s more, this chapter especially mentions the requirements for teachers.
