In recent years, in terms of (Peer-to-Peer, called P2P) has been a rapid development It can deploy powerful and large-scale distributed applications with low cost.. In P2P systems ,every node is the resource provider, also resource extraction .Compared with the traditional mode, it has lots of incomparable superiorities, such as: non-centralization, expansibility, robustness, high performance and high security.In the summer of 2000.Sun corporation proposed a viewpoint, only P2P exchanged can display P2P truly superiority, just like Instant Messaging. More people joined in, more valuable this system is. And released a platform, that is designed to be independent of programming language, transport protocols/networking platforms and systems platforms. It has the features such as: interoperable ability, independence and ubiquity. Because of these features, it became an ideal P2P application development platform.First of all, this paper has analyzed the P2P technology characteristics, summarized the three kind of P2P models and each kind of domain applications and has analyzed the existing P2P application flaw and the insufficiency, extend a P2P application frame model--cms based on jxta, and then developed the network file system, design and implementation, and describe the system’s functions. The main functions include document sharing, document search, access to shared content, the design of competence management.Through the research, this thesis extends a P2P application frame model based on jxta, and uses the model successfully to develop a network file sharing system, the model extends the scope of application of P2P, mainly used in the open P2P networks. This system attempts to apply it in the topical system. This system uses P2P file-sharing network model Thus it eliminate the dependence of the center server, it will not be because of some mechanical failure resulting in the failure of the whole network. It has also made full use of the existing network resources and cost savings; Moreover uses this model development the system that have lots of incomparable superiorities, such as: non-centralization, expansibility, robustness, high cost performance and high security. This thesis not only analyzes the P2P technology and application, and makes a little research in the jxta application.
