Abstract


As the rapid development of Chinese economy and the improvement of the urban residents’ income, rural tourism which close to its distance from cities, spend less, satisfy the individual guests and the family trips, as well as its advantages and characteristics of the beautiful countryside scenery, unique human landscape, ushered in the golden age. However, rural tourism as an important resource of traditional rural settlement landscape bound to face new challenges. The discussion how to choose the rural settlements which have the conditions for tourism development and how to develop have becoming the topic research in the most important. It is precisely because of this, the author takes this research as the content of the topics in the master’s thesis.Through collecting and analyzing large number of literature, author sorts out the relationship between rural tourism and rural settlements and extracts the constituent elements of the tourism development value from traditional rural settlements, through scientific analysis method to construct the matrix. And this paper selects a part of rural settlements in the southern Jiangsu province to analyze, hoping to get the theoretical data as a guide. At last, author proposes the goal, conditions, principle of the traditional rural settlements in the southern Jiangsu province in developing rural tourism. The concrete research content is as follows:The first part is an introduction. Point out the background, the goal, the significance, research methods and content of this research, as well as some basic concepts.The second part is the summary. Introduce the research of the rural tourism and rural settlements at home and abroad, as well as the relation between the two.The third part is the research of the tourism landscape in the rural settlements. By studying the constituent elements of rural landscape and rural tourism resources, extract the constituent elements of rural settlements based on the products of rural tourism, namely: tourism landscape of rural settlements, tourist facilities of rural settlements and souvenirs of rural settlements. The fourth part is the image analysis of rural settlements in the southern Jiangsu province. Through collecting literature, surveying the scene and analyzing the tourism products of traditional rural settlements in the southern Jiangsu province, provide perceptual knowledge.The fifth part is building a comprehensive evaluation model of the rural settlement landscape. Through selecting evaluation scientifically, building matrix and using the method of AHP and expert advice to determine the weight, build a comprehensive evaluation model of the rural settlement landscape. To Mong village, Kam Town as an example, through quantitative analysis to obtain the data, look at the problems and inadequate in the tourism development of the rural settlements at this stage.The sixth part is a conclusion. Based on the research and analysis, this paper proposes the goal, conditions, principle of the traditional rural settlements in the southern Jiangsu province in the development of rural tourism.
