Abstract


Along with the speeding up of the pace of life for economic and social development, weekend travel is becoming more and more favored. Therefore, with its own unique advantages, the edge of small towns large and medium-sized cities is being a weekend holiday destination of choice. In addition, the choice of recent visitors for tourism products will remain concentrated in the short-distance tourism in the city and surrounding short-range vacation, and consumer preferences precisely the types of tourism products and the advantages of small town tourism product type match and therefore large and medium-sized cities on the verge of Town tourism product has good prospects for development. The tourism development of the small cities and towns near large and medium-sized cities in China as a key link in the development of tourism, whose status in the national economy is viewed as a whole increasing, as well as, the region as a whole its tourism development and tourism operators have an important role.Based on the verge of small medium and large cities and towns on the development of tourism resources as the starting point. First of all, this paper described the background and significance of the topics on the contents and methods of research, and then by scholars and experts in the field on the status of literature that the fruits of their research and the lack of large and medium-sized cities in China. In addition, this paper discussed the edge of the small cities and towns based on the development of tourism resources (characteristics, advantages and problems, in principle, countermeasures). On this basis, large and medium-sized cities to the small towns edge of the tourism resources development model can be drawn, that is, to enhance the economic efficiency objectives and the improvement of eco-efficiency as the standard for the conditions to improve social benefits. Finally, the development of the tourism resources Zhouzhuang is viewed as a case analysis that the corresponding conclusions.
