Abstract


In this era technological innovation is the key embodiment for enterprise strength. In the era of global economy, an enterprise with strong ability of technological innovation can occupy top position in civil markets even in the supply chain of worldwide markets and promote enterprise development as well as create strong foundation for the enterprise developing to internationalization. Although technological innovation is very important, without good technological innovation management, probably no technological innovation will occur. Therefore, good technological innovation management becomes one of base of technological innovation and key point for enterprise development as well.First of all this research states related theories of technological innovation and management as well as performance evaluation, secondly on the basis of theory analysis and survey, take technological innovation management of East Penn International (Wujiang) Batteries Co., Ltd. (East Penn International for short as follows) which is a wholly foreign enterprise built in China as research object and make analysis. After historical development of East Penn International is introduced briefly, through developed detailed discussion and analysis for the aspects of technological innovation management of East Penn International, the paper summarizes that the essential way to technological innovation management development for this company is creating a free innovation environment by enterprise culture for employees, distributing resource by innovation management mechanism, turning the innovation into commodities by management and motivation strategies. Then evaluate the present technological innovation system of East Penn International by technological innovation performance evaluation pattern, through calculation we can arrive at that performance is good and technological innovation management system is successful. We can take it as example and reference for some domestic enterprises.Finally combining the successful experience of East Penn International, a wholly foreign enterprise with the reality of technological innovation management of our companies, this study proposes five advices to improve the technological innovation management. Firstly it is building the right innovation concept. Secondly it is optimizing the system of innovation. Thirdly it is enclosing the core technology to improve technology management. Fourthly it is valid technical service and professional training. Lastly it is free information sources and innovation cooperation.
