Abstract
|
Monodisperse polystyrene particles were prepared by emulsion polymerization and dispersion polymerization. The effects of polymerization parameters on polymer microspheres size and the stabilization of polymerization system were investigated. An array structure of polystyrene micro-beads on an indium-doped tin oxide (ITO) electrode was prepared by film transfer technique. Micro-cavities of tungsten trioxide (WO3) were fabricated on an indium-doped tin oxide electrode by electrodeposition. With the verge and wall of the nanocavity (nanoreactor) modified by chemical method, nanoparticles were self-assembled in nanoreactor. Surface-enhanced Raman spectra indicated the electromagnetic field of the nanocavity contributed to the further enhancement of the Raman scattering of assembled nanoparticles. The density of the silver nanoparticles can influence the Raman enhancement. The more nanoparticles can produce stronger signal. Moreover, The enhancement of the b2 modes has been assumed to be a result of charge transfer between the silver particles. The array of tungsten trioxide was used as electrode. Polyaniline was then electrochemically deposited into the WO3 cavities to form a WO3/polyaniline hybrid layer. The test of cyclic voltammetry demonstrated that the hybrid modified electrode which may be used as the electrode for the supercapacitor, has better power characteristic and cycle performance.
