As an important component of the world merchant fleet,Bulk liquid chemical tanker(we usually call it Parcel chemical Tanker) plays a very big role in international trade and transport in near sea,coast and river.In recent years,the accidents of chemical tankers’breakage and spillage occurred frequently,causing huge economic losses,at the same time,polluting the marine environment seriously.IBC code make regulations on construction and equipments of international ships for bulk liquid chemicals,and as the central link,the factors of people is the most important part,so the day-to-day security management of chemical tanker is important,especially the safety of transpotation.This article discusses several important links about the safety of transpotation of chemical tanker,firstly,I introduced the background knowledge of the development of the transportation of liquid chemicals,the classification of bulk chemicals and chemical tanker,the development of chemical tanker,the relevant rules.Then,I elaborate the method of avoiding the occurrence of dangerous chemical reactions.According to different natures of different chemicals,putting forward corresponding management methods,avoiding the causing of dangerous chemical reactions.What’s more important is to according to compatibility table,putting forward methods of stowage and isolation, at the same time,programming the compatibility table,summarizing the attention items of the washing of chemical tanker,introducing the process of the washing.Thirdly,the article discusses the stability of chemical tanker,especially researching the effect of free surface in different situations.Putting forward the different calculation methods of the effect of free surface to tankers’stability.At last,I research the proliferation after chemicals spill.For different natures of physics and chemistry of different chemicals, summarizing corresponding diffusion models.For different diffusions,proposing corresponding contingency measures.Reducing the effect to the lowest on economic loss and the pollution of marine environment. What’s the importance of the article is generalizing and summarizing the safety problems that easily appears during the transpotation,putting forward scientific management methods to avoid causing accidents,and at the same time,putting forward corresponding contingency measures.
