Abstract


South Korea-based family teledrama has been introduced into China and East Asia in recent years through the internet and the presentation in the local television station, which cause a great upsurge fervour in watching TV drama. The successful experience of South Korea-based family teledrama is analysed in four aspects and the insufficiency of the same kind drama in China is given in the thesis.Totally the thesis consists of three parts: the preface, the main part and the conclusion. The main part of the thesis is made up of four chapters, each of which consists of three sections written in a fixed pattern. The first section of each chapter is mainly about the characteristics in Korean family teledrama. The second section of each chapter deals with the characteristics of Chinese family teledrama and the third section explores the enlightment from the comparison between the both sides.The broadcasting situation in China, the definition of the South Korea-based family drama and the representative works of both country is discussed in the preface.The first chapter mainly discusses the indite style of family drama. First,the South Korea-based family drama depicts the trifles of life interacting with affection. The comedic elements are added to relieve people’s stress of modern life.In its form of expression, it displays the contents in details, pictures and music.Second, Chinese family drama pays more attention to discribe the difficulty of the family.The intensity of the absolute plot is increased and thus the tragical elements are appended.The second chapter mainly discusses from morality and culture of the family drama program.First, the South Korea-based family TV drama carrys on the Confucian morality and culture. The function of teaching through lively activities combining the modern civilization is thus presented. Second, there are some insufficiency in the Chinese family teledrama.Finally,it attaches importance to the family values and inherits the traditional culture from the development at top speed to edify the audience by comparison.The third chapter mainly discusses the manufacture and the dissemination. First, the South Korea-based family TV drama adopts the producing way shooting and showing simultaneously to encourage the audience’s positivity and let them to take part in the discussion of the story according to their interest. Thus the the marketing trend is grasped. Second, Chinese family drama are independent from the audience in the process of manufacturing, so unnecessary waste can’t be avoid.Finally, we can takes hints from the comparision that the producing system should be perfected and a good feedback system should be set up, thus the development direction based on the audience reflection can be grasped and it can be expected that more competitive products will be produed. Finally the waste in repeating broadcast can be avoided by consulting with the local TV stations.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the economic value of the family TV drama. First, it discusses a serials development plan by making enough preparation for the marketing development abroad. The fast development of TV drama program spurs the top development of other businesses. High occupancy of oversea market can increases the development of domestic economy. Second, China lacks competitive family TV dramas and the occupancy in international market is very low because of the producing shortcoming. Furthermore, economic income is sole because the related occupation development is backward. Finally, we can gets the enlightment from the comparision that we should develop both the international and the domestic market to develop the interrelated business and to develop economic by benefiting the TV play from many channels.This paper gets the enlightment that the Chinese family TV drama can get development through the above discussion. It can to certain extent achieve the family drama producing development and bring the heritage and economic benefits based on them.
