Abstract


The present study aims at investigating the current situation and the factors restraining the development of the Futsal in Fujian universities as well as exploring the corresponding strategies for reference, adopting the methods of the investigation, interview, statistical method and so on. The results were displayed as follows: the international Futsal developed very fast, especially in some countries of Europe and America, whose Futsal was of quite high level and wide promotion, but there still, existed unbalance; in contrast, the Chinese Futsal improved rapidly while the professional process was progressing slowly and the mass base of Futsal was relatively weak; Futsal was a kind of sport of entertainment, stimulation, appreciation, and comparative safety, so it was very suitable for the students in university; it could arouse the motivation and passion of the students and make full use of the sports fields as well as promote the popularization and development; it was paid less attention to for the severe lack of fields and equipments, besides the shortage of the Futsal teaching and training in PE; the sports activities after school were too limited; the league matches were not systematic enough inside and outside school.Base on the results above, the researcher put forward some relevant strategies of development: to invest more funds and construct the special fields, to offer the coaches better training, to set up the required and optional courses, to vigorously develop the club of Futsal, to improve the system of competition, to develop the traditional Futsal middle schools, to expand the scale of university recruitment, to perfect the sports projects of the college entrance exam.
